Hiking in the Valleys of Grand-Pierre and Vitain National (Nature Reserve)

Located in the communes of Averdon and Marolles just a few minutes from Champouteau, the "Grand-Pierre et Vitain" National Nature Reserve is a 300-hectare refuge for the flora and fauna of the Petite Beauce region. Made up of a mosaic of different natural environments, this exceptional site is home to numerous animal and plant species. The dry valley of the Grand-Pierre, carved out of the limestone plateau, is of additional geological interest.

You can access the reserve from the communal pond at AVERDON or from the commune of MAROLLES.
