A different kind of heritage

Discovering the chateaux of the Loire Valley by bike is a real adventure. Leave your car at your accommodation or come by train with your bikes. The rest of your vacation will be spent pedaling. A reasonable adventure for the whole family, a few kilometers by bike to visit a farm, a pond or a château, depending on the day and the mood.

As you cycle along every day, you’ll have the chance to discover our lives, at the pace of local markets and activities. In addition to the castles, you’ll have discovered our countryside and its villages.

For the more athletic, the bike loops are interconnected, so you can create new rides, switching from one route to another and extending your outing as you wish. Every day, you can set yourself a new challenge by playing with distance and altitude differences. The latter are greatest north of the Loire, near Veuzain-sur-Loire, in the Cisse Valley.

To make your walks easier, each loop has a number and a color. Follow your walk with :
